Customizing Global License Factors for Hosted Essentials Plus and Pro Services

This option lets you determine which license factors are used in the license calculation; configuration actions attributed to these factors are counted. You can the customize the following license factors for each service:

Managed Users-By Template
Managed Users-By User Interface
Managed Service Numbers

If you modify the configuration by deselecting one or more of the check boxes, then the license factor counter is reset to zero for these factors and only the selected factors are counted. In the example shown, below both the 'Managed Users-By LifeCycle Management' and the 'Managed Service Numbers' factors are deselected, therefore calculation is executed only for configuration actions attributed to the 'Managed Users-By User Interface' factor.

This configuration overwrites the global default settings for the Service Provider tenant instance (see Configuring Service Provider Global License Settings).

To configure license factors (global):
1. In the Navigation pane, click MonitoringUMP License.

2. In the License Factors (Global) pane, select or deselect the check boxes as required.

3. Click Apply license factors and then click Refresh Licenses.

In the example shown above, data is modified as follows:

Managed Users - Direct Routing: Unchanged
Managed Users - By LifeCycle Management:
This license factor was not counted in the last License Refresh interval as indicated by 0.
(19) indicates the aggregated values of both the Direct Routing and LifeCycle Management factors based on the previous License Refresh interval when these factors were counted in the calculation (17+2).
(n/a) indicates that this factor was not counted in the last License Refresh interval.
